  Not to worry - I get more at home with the email account I've had since 1988. At least it's easy to filter anything not in English!

  Here is what I have done, turned on all the "anti-spam" tools and also turned on the "moderate blog posts" which means no posts can appear on the site unless I have seen them beforehand. I really hate to do this as I believe it hinders the free flow of ideas. I hope this works. I'll also keep up to date on what others who administer sites such as this are doing, but from what I gather from the "creators" network is that lots of the "Ning" sponsored sites are having the problem.
  
  Ning has over a million of these sites -- imagine their headache!
