Hi! I'm fairly new here on ArtFairInsiders, but not new to the art festival scene. I posted some questions on an old blog from last year, to a few artists who mentioned that they were doing Buffalo Grove, when Connie Mettler asked "what are you doing this weekend"? ...but, I haven't received any responses. Soooooooo, I was wondering if anyone out there has any information regarding their experience at this art festival?? Thanks so much for your time! Alice

This one Amy show that you can do very well or very bad. It always hot so be prepare. I think you should give it try and find out if it works for you. You can not talk bad Amy shows since she try the best to make best for us but is always a gamble.

Carla *hugs* Your comment cracked me up *giggles* ...because we have many shows where that's all we seem to remember... or we only remember how smart we were that we bought more Gatorade than we thought we'd drink... and ended up drinking it all! :D

I went to your website and checked out your glass... beautiful!! *claps* If the crowd was still buying despite the heat, that's good to know... and actually amazing... at FestForAll in Baton Rouge (first weekend in May) the only buyers came out b4 it got hot... and the rest of the show was spent in Lucifer's kitchen for slow roasting vendors! ROFL

Ver y nice show but EXTREMELY HOT! Be prepared! Saw at least 3 ambulances pull in and take people out.
I did Buffalo Grove last year. It was my best show in the Amdur tour and one of my best shows of the year. Great community support. Very hot but people were buying. Despite the heat I was all smiles at the end of this one.
I did it last year, the only thing I remember is heat stroke and migraine!! Nothing against promoters! They are very professional.
Alice, you can also read the reviews from the last two years. The artists who did the show commented on them. Go to the first blog page and up near the top where the search box is, enter Buffalo Grove and the reviews will show up.
Another thing you can do since they are members on this site is to send them a "message" through this system and contact them directly.
