This preeminent urban festival attracts art lovers from the metropolitan Washington, DC, region, displaying the works of a select group of highly creative and talented artists in the heart of Bethesda's Arts & Entertainment District. Bethesda Row is a popular dining and gathering place, covering four city blocks and features more than 50 fine shops and restaurants, and a movie theater. Low-rise, retail and office buildings create a very pleasing, human-scale, town-center feel. What makes the event unique is its continuing tradition of free attendance while financially helping kids through NIH Children's Charities in partnership with the Bethesda Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce.
