Breckenridge Mountain Art festivals???

We are not doing our usual east coast trip this year. Lots of disappointments last year. We have applied to a number of shows in Colorado and Utah. Has anybody doen any of the three Breckenridge Mountain Art Festivals? 2 in July, 1 in September? Need soem direction. We have applied to Downtwon Denver, Salt Lake City Utah Arts fest., but need to fill in July and August.

I'm considering one of the Breckenridge shows and am looking for some more recent feedback. Looks like 2012 was last posted. Any of you guys have more recent info? Thanks. Also, Mary commented on a downtown Denver show. Which show exactly is that?

We are going to be in Breckenridge for the July show. Has anyone tried to use wifi credit card processing at the show? Thank you...any info on the show would be helpful, since this is our first in Colorado!

All three Breckenridge shows are great. Different audiences for each - tourists, second homeowners, and some locals. I've been in all three for eight years and have applied for all again this summer. The Downtown Denver show is also good - an urban audience who turn out in big numbers. I recommend all four of these shows. Setup and tear down are all very well organized and you can drive to your booth site.

Thanks Gary. We've applied to three as well. Do u know anything about the MLC ( monmouth??) shows?

The group Ruth recommended for SW artists seems to be a very good blog for this area.

Daryl I did all three last year. Found that the 4th and Labor Day shows were the best for me (photography). Mark puts on good shows, traffic is good and sales as usual are all over the map depending on your medium. I've applied for this year.

Daryl - there's a group on this site for Pacific Coast and Southwest artists, you might want to post your question there to get a few more responses. I know there are at least a couple of people in that group out of AZ who have done CO in the summer months.
