I have read many times, "the judge just passed by without looking". In our cases, we have one judge for 2-D work and one for 3-D. They then concur to select which artists will be given awards.  This may explain why one “passed you by”.

  • Barry,& Susan-- We thank you for another great season- all three shows were good solid sales, and very successful and enjoyable times. There is no problem with a donation for The ART Center-crowds aren't kept away for $5, - especially to see the high Quality of art displayed in Bonita"s art festivals- maybe 39degrees on a sun. morning though-thanks again

  • That is a really good point, Barry! It means that the judges can concentrate on what they know best without racing from booth to booth and also gives reason to that perennial complaint - "the judge didn't even come into my booth."

  • Congratulations to all and a shout out to Mark Van De Bogart.

  • I received an Award of Distinction at the March Bonita show. Three jewelers were selected. Rarely does that happen. It was a great show. I thought it might be too late in the season but even tho the crowds were lighter, they were still buying. The energy was there!
  • I was at least one of the folks who mentioned that, Barry.  Thanks for clarifying, didn't even think of that.
