I applied by accident meannint to apply to madisons show of the same name. I did notice and apply to madison but i got in to this lake forest one and Iam not sure to accept or not as the reviews i could find seem very old from 2013 and 2011 a friend sent me two others that where not great but had no date on it. If you have done or know if this show any more recent advice would help. thanks so much! I do 2D mixed media with lots of color btw.thanks again

We have done Lake Forest for several years. It is a good location in a wealthy neighborhood. We make silver jewelry and have consistently had good shows there. I can't comment on how wall art does. We live in the Chicago area and it is one of only a few Chicago area shows that we continue to participate in.
Hi Marirosa, I did that show two years ago and it's a nice show to do and Lake Forest is a lovely, rich town but it was not a good show for me. I am a 2D mixed media artist and it seemed that people that were buying, were buying traditional, conservative art and not conceptual or abstract. That was just my take. There was also a show in a parking lot around the corner from the show, that had lots of people that couldn't get into the actual show. I don't think it did the show any favors. Anyway, it wasn't my market and it was one and done for me. Just my take.
