This is my first year doing this show. I have heard not so good things about set up. Any advice out there? Also, where to stay.
They seem to have a bad web presence. Does this get better? At this point there is no list of artists, or even concise information as to where it actually is!
As near as I can tell, the Stupid Saturday Night Event is history. It was a bad idea from the beginning and good riddance to it. How can a Jeweler close the booth for two hours and go have dinner, then re-open? Never made a lick of sense.
thanks for the info...still trying to decide... are they still doing that stupid Friday night thing...where you had to leave to have dinner and then return to open up for the "preview"

Merri - I'd love to see you and Harry this Spring. The show has moved (again!) and the new location may be a plus. It's two blocks north of last year's location and two blocks south of the location two years ago. Better spot than either of the others, but who knows?
JUst moved off the wait list to accepted and am not sure wether to do it or not. I used to live in Houston and did this show for many years,especially at the old museum grounds... but the last 2 years before I moved to Florida were awful. The only saving grace is my son lives in Austin and it would be nice to visit. Anyone do it last year and what do you recomend?

I'll be there as well as the Heckers. I need my Texas fix! Would love a Travis fix as well...
