Nels, first of all, best wishes for the season, happy holidays and all that good stuff. Next, what is with those people where you live, can you tell them to buy a vowel, what the heck is a ybor??? Really.
I love Ybor. I've been going there since the '80's. I used to stop to buy El Sol cigars and go to the Fuente warehouse where Arturo Fuente would tell stories of the old days in Cuba.
I wrote a followup blog to this" An open letter to Paul Flack about Ybor.Gave the whole history, it is a december blog you can find on my page or just back in the blog history.
Vicente Martinez-Ybor, a noted industrialist and cigar manufacture was a founder of Ybor City on the outskirts of Tampa. And that would be," what the heck is AN ybor???"
