Whale Hunting depicts the dramatic battle between man and whale.I wanted to use the natural knots in the wood to work with the waves of the water.This woodcarving is made of pure pine with a combination of oil paints, acrylic paintsand then coated with two coats of polyurethane. The carving is 25" x 24".
