This is one of two art dolls that I created. I made this the week Joplin, Missouri was wiped out by a tornado... I'm originally from Missouri, and the tragedy reminded me that there just isn't enough beauty in the world to counteract the tragedy... I made the guitar from balsa wood, formed the body with armature wire and muslin, and made all the clothes (including the hat). My first doll.
