In September 2009 my saintly Mama celebrated her 90th Birthday. Four generations of our family gathered to share that special, happy day with her. We also went up to the military cemetery where my Dad, her Husband of 54 years, had been buried 9 years before with all honors due to his Army service in WWII.As my family members supported my Mother up the hill across the uneven grass towards my Dad's Military Memorial Headstone, I captured this special photo that means a lot to me and my family. Many USA families fully understand how we all felt.My Mother was able that day to see exactly where she would be buried when she passed away some five years later. At that time her casket was buried on top of my Father's casket as a kind military cemetery option for veterans and their spouses. My Mom's name and the message "Together Again In Heaven" were inscribed on the back of my Dad's headstone. My parents finally rejoined many other folks of the "Greatest Generation". They all are effectively remembered as they rest in peace surrounded by many other headstones stretching up to the dark "curtain-like" trees in the distance. Now we can Pay Our Respects there at the military cemetery as well as in our own life actions and thoughts everyday!
