What are the best things about art fairs
conversations with other artist and art patrons
Worst show ever and why
Allen art fair- Allen, Tx. where do i start? little to no signage, stuck in back parking lot of upscale shopping center, little to no interaction with promoters or volunteers, hokey booths set up selling 2D art and jewelry, people opening late and closing early, no prizes for paying artist, but high school booth which was set up next to mine and closed half the time gave $300 $200 and $100 dollar prizes. childrens activities set up next to that was bad and closed half the time. slow crowd and no buyers. music stage was set up in the shopping center away from us, so most patrons never made it across parking lots and street to stroll thru. most artist said they would never come back to this show. just a bad and depressing feeling all over. the parking for overnight campers was apparently well lit, quiet, and guarded by security.

i googled an art show i got accepted to in austin and the post convinced me i was right and not to do it.

Just put your topic, canopy tents, jurying fees, Ann Arbor Art Fair, etc, into the search bar at the top of the right side of the page. You might be surprised that someone has already asked your question.
