What are the best things about art fairs

people wanting to hang my work on their walls

Best show ever and why

Westport, CT. Was my best show monetarily. Had a booth under a shady tree, right on the river, with white swans swimming by. Other artist were very friendly.

Worst show ever and why

Somerville, NJ - Sugarloaf Productions. I discovered that I don't do well at craft shows where people come for free food samples. Was a 3 day show where I sold only a couple prints on day 1, followed by a freak October snowstorm which kept everyone else away for the rest of the weekend.
