First show ever
new york art expo 2008. i went to support abstract metal artist nicholas yust, for whom i do graphic design and marketing work. the show was an amazing experience and i met so many artists and people in the business. i love seeing new art and new faces, and having the time to take it all in!
What are the best things about art fairs
meeting other artists! i love seeing new art and learning the story behind it. people have so many different backgrounds and personalities, and it is interesting to see how it is portrayed in their work.
Best show ever and why
cincy pinkfest, breast cancer awareness show. selling art for a cause gave a whole new meaning to "art show." it was great to see the collaboration and well-meaning of both the artists and the buyers. a good day overall.
Worst show ever and why
art expo las vegas 2008. i think there were more artists than attendees....
