What are the best things about art fairs
Repeat customers. Hobnobbing with other artists. Earning $ at what we love to do. Being self employed (good, bad & ugly.)
Best show ever and why
Fallasburg Park fall fair. Consistent repeat customers, high quality of art in many mediums, historic crafts like metal smithing, beautiful setting, live music and food tents, close to home so that family & friends come.
Worst show ever and why
I shall not say where, but they sought out artists for the park in conjunction with their classic car show. In the end, they never promoted the art fair, had absolutely no one there to greet or direct the artists (who filled the park, by the way) and didn't make a single announcement directing the car lovers our direction until one of us asked them to (and then they only mentioned us the one time.) None of us sold more than a few things.

What is one fun fact about yourself?
All of our pottery is functional pottery even though it's pretty. Indoor/outdoor things of beauty. We mix our own glazes.
