What are the best things about art fairs
Meeting people who love what you do, and seeing how a piece you adore looks on someone who adores it too.
Best show ever and why
Allied Arts Art in the Park/Richland WA: it's my best every year because the community supports it and people value handmade work.
Worst show ever and why
An RV-type show in Lodi CA: it was misrepresented as a "show" when it was a gathering of RV'ers who had no intention of shopping. I sold one inexpensive pair of earrings to the gal who put the event together. I'm sure she felt sorry for me.
