First show ever
I really cant remember the first show i ever did. But i love art shows and art fairs . There really isnt any bad art. I love it all...........
What are the best things about art fairs
They keep art alive, So many different Talented people. Its wonderful. It Gets all your creative juices flowing. Its encouraging to meet new artists and always a pleasure to see whats new.
Best show ever and why
I recently went to the show in michigan this past weekend at the Rock finacial bldg It was one of the nicest shows i have ever attended. I hope it will be very successful in the future.
Worst show ever and why
I get a little discouraged when they mix crafts with fine art . I think you know what i mean . There is a place for both. They bring out two different crowds.

Once when i first started painting watercolors i went to a show and packed up the night before the tempature dropped that night the next morning i set up and the sun came out and it got hot well to my shock inside my framed art work condensation started forming and running down the inside of the glass. It was awful i had to take down and go home and open up all the frames so the art work wouldnt get ruined. I never forgot that and never made that mistake again.

Good luck to you
I agree that art and crafts do not mix. Our weekly show in Santa Barbara has a seperae section for each...a much better idea. I also feel that where there are other activities going on such as food, music and kids activities its not conducive to sales...at least that has been my experience.
However I must disagree with you when you say there is no bad art. I could offer many examples.
