  • Susan, thank you for filling me in and helping me get to know you.  It sounds like the polymer clay is a good alternative for you, are you making jewelry or other things with it?  As a knitter, I worry about my hands too and how much longer I'll be able to do it, so far, so good though.  In fact, I think that using my hands in this way every day helps to ward off arthritis and other aches and pains.  Not to mention how the creative process itself helps my mental acuity and stress level...it's all good.  Thanks for sharing and best of luck as you proceed.

  • You're so welcome, Susan.  What type of media were you doing before versus what you're doing now?  I'm still in the "getting my feet wet" stage too after recently relocating to a hipper, more vigorous art community...it's exciting but I'm still undecided as to whether I should continue to sell in shops and galleries or do shows.  Well, best of luck to you and keep us in the loop...

  • Hello Susan,

Welcome to AFI!  We're delighted to have you join us here and hope you'll take a look around the site and make yourself at home.  I'm pretty ancient and grumpy myself and they say that misery loves company, so welcome aboard!
