What are the best things about art fairs

The art fairs give us all a great opportunity to meet new friends and make a living at the same time. Nothing makes you feel better that when someone loves and adores your work.

Best show ever and why

Crafts at Lyndhurst put on by Artrider. It was professionally run, easy set up and easy tear down. I also made the most I've ever made at any show and that was this year in a bad economy.

Worst show ever and why

Hobe Sound, Fl put on by Howard Allan Events. One of the entrances to the show started as a farmers market/flee market. Girl Scout cookies were being sold along with elastic bracelets for $3.00. I don't think that qualifies as art.

p.s. The best way to make this system easy to use is to click on the "Follow-Email me" link at the bottom of each Forum discussion that interests you. That way the system will email you automatically whenever anyone responds. It's a great time-saver.
