What are the best things about art fairs
The customers appreciation of my product.
Best show ever and why
Hand and Eye, Troy MI. I was in a great location- my regular customers (and NEW ones too) could see my display as they walked in the gymnasium. In no time at all, I had lined up to purchase my items. The 'Pirranah feed' went on for over 30 minutes with more folks getting in line as others left. My husband and I were working as fast as possible to make change and package orders, and the customers were very patient, and all had kind words about the quality of our work. We had a great show, but our neighbors were not pleased with our 'overflow' in front of their booths.
Worst show ever and why
A small church show that had been poorly advertised, IF at all. No food available, no music, no chairs, and worst of all, no customers. We had been required to park a block away, and could not pull up to unload. Hauling items a block in the rain to go home after a no sale day was very disheartening.
