The best thing about art fairs is meeting new people and talking about art.
Best show ever and why
Art in the Atrium, Clarkston MI. This is a night event where all artists apply to show their work during the Clarkston Cultural Arts event in my city. They serve food and drinks, and everyone walks around talking about art and looking at art. It's nothing big but it was such a great event bc I met other artists and had a blast, sold a painting and had a lot of fun. It was a nice night to celebrate art.
Worst show ever and why
Birmingham Winter Art Fair. This was a 3 day event, 10-7pm each day and it was OUTSIDE IN DECEMBER ! They provided heat but it didn't matter. We had high winds, snow, rain and sleet. I froze all weekend and there was poor attendance, wonder why ? lol Still had fun though.
