What are the best things about art fairs
Independence. Other artists. Repeat customers. The challenge.
Best show ever and why
Chicago Gold Coast (2011) - an Amdur show. Unbelievable crowd - lots of new and repeat customers. Everything was just perfect, including the weather.
Worst show ever and why
Frankenmuth, MI - Zehnder Park (2009). 10 million degrees and our only customers for 3 days were other artists. Good crowds - they all came on tour buses. The youngest person off the bus was maybe 75. They all had their buy one - get one free meal coupons, though.
