Spring Into the Arts in Battle Creek
What are the best things about art fairs
Talking with the people, seeing their reactions and listening to their comments about my work and showing them how I do some of my work. I am very engaged with people who stop to look and eager to share how and why I do what I do.
Best show ever and why
Spring into the Arts in Battle Creek. It was actually my first show as well as my best show so far. The weather was wonderful, we had tons of people and my display was almost packed with people the entire time. My work was very well received as people had never seen anything like it. I have done 3 shows so far and I frequently hear that specific comment as well as how nice my work is and it should be in a gallery :-)
Worst show ever and why
I was invited to a workplace craft show (of about 10 tables). There was a lot of traffic going by, but mostly, they were busy working and not able to spend much time at the tables looking. Some did and they were impressed with my work but most went for the cookies--and I don't blame them--I did too!

Many topics have already been discussed here before you joined us. You might like to try a search of your topic before you post your question. Just put your topic, canopy tents, jurying fees, Ann Arbor Art Fair, etc, into the search bar at the top of the right side of the page. You might be surprised that someone has already asked your question.
