What are the best things about art fairs
The vendors, the customers, the art lovers, the organizers!!! I absolutely love doing shows! It's a chance for me to directly connect with people who like my work and with other artists in my community. Big crowd or small, wads of cash or a few bucks, it's all good to me as long as it's not raining the whole time!
Best show ever and why
I'm a little new to the scene, so I've only done a few shows solo but I love any chance to get out of my studio and mingle in a crowd...especially if they all come to me at my booth :)
Worst show ever and why
I worked for an artisan/crafter that set up at Summerfest during what can only be explained as a lake tsunami. Lot's of lost merchandise and everything was soaked for days! Generally though, I think being a vendor is the best way to experience the fest!

What is one fun fact about yourself?
At the same time I started selling at markets, my sister started organizing markets in her hometown of Berlin, Germany. Hopefully she'll reserve a spot for me this summer!
