  hello - i live in chicago but grew up in huntington woods - my sister lives in birmingham - i am a collage artist specializing in cats, dogs, birds...pets - have done a few fairs - looking to network, find ways to promote my work - trying to get my etsy site up - struggling to photograph my work, esp. the 3-dimensional stuff, so it looks as good on-line as it does in reality - wish me luck!! - my site is www.petcollage.etsy.com - only a banner and blurb so far but feedback welcome - thanks - nancy gordon

  I read somewhere on here (Can’t find the post now, and it does not turn up in a site search) that the Birmingham Fine Art Fair is now Art Birmingham, and the Birmingham-Bloomfield Arts Center has given control to the Michigan Guild. It will also be in a new location.
  
  Can you tell us more about this? I’m wondering why it was done. I figure there must be a story behind this.
