What are the best things about art fairs

It isn't always about the money. I love the idea that someone wants to display/use something that I made. My husband is also an artist, so he is usually with me at art fairs. We always meet so many interesting people.

Best show ever and why

Banbury Art Crawl in Eau Claire WI. This 2 day art fair, is only 30 minutes from our home. We always run into friends and family, and our sales are great. The fee is great, it is well advertised, and the coordinators are wonderful.

Worst show ever and why

Willow River Hudson WI. This art fair is in a beautiful state park, off of a main highway. We got there very early. Someone was setting up in my husband's and my spots. They refused to move. The coordinators would not step in and make them move. My husband and I didn't want start something, or make a scene, so we moved. There were several other events/activities going on the same day. The art fair wasn't busy at all. None of the vendors were happy. We found out half way through the day, that they had advertised all the activities going on, EXCEPT the art fair.
