What are the best things about art fairs
Talking to and meeting people. Watching people's reaction to my work. My paintings are sculptured canvases made with tissue paper and are three dimensional. One woman cried (I asked her later why, she said my work was so beautiful it made her cry) and a man just stood in front of my work with his mouth open for a few minutes.
Best show ever and why
Ketchum Art Festival, Ketchum, Idaho. I sold a painting to a woman for $4600. She was from another state and when I asked her if she wanted me to ship it to her, she said no, I'll just bring it home on my private jet.
Worst show ever and why
I did a show inside an office building and they gave me the worst spot in a dark hallway in a corner. It screamed "you are not worth a good spot." There is a divide among traditional and contemporary artists. Sometimes the traditional art types do not appreciate my contemporary work.

I use to paint billboards by hand (when they were painted).
