First show ever
at a local holiday craft show held in the school gym
What are the best things about art fairs
A chance to put my work out there directly with the public. I enjoy talking to people and seeing their reaction to my work. I always feel invigorated. So far I have not felt the need to sell my work online. I like to meet the people who buy my work.
Best show ever and why
So far my best shows have been with a local artist guild group. We put on 2 major shows a year. However I feel that I have saturated the local market and need to get out of the area.
Worst show ever and why
Colorfest in Thurmont, MD. Huge number of people come to the show but definetly not my demographics. Too County Crafty. Met some nice folks but terrible sales. Learned a lot.

I quit my high paying corporate job to allow time to do my art.
