What are the best things about art fairs
Meeting ALL the people who enjoy & collect my work. That doesn't happen with galleries.
Best show ever and why
The PFA Spring show in Walnut Creek, CA 2007. Perfect weather, great crowds of engaging people and originals were selling all weekend.
Worst show ever and why
I wrote a painfully funny speech about this one. The East Contra Costa Home, Garden & Gift Show. It was offensive on every level from promoter lies to the smell of a very recent livestock show (with flooding) to the nearby chainsaw bear carver - to say nothing of the revivalist evangelists across from me. A literally true 'holy crap!' show.

You found me.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I can sense from looking at an original painting whether the artist was/is a genuinely good person, but it doesn't work if there's glass.
