Juried Show for the Aloha Week at the Maui Prince Hotel in 1992
What are the best things about art fairs
Testing my designs for my wholesale line and of course sharing my "stoprecycling.com" philosophy!
Best show ever and why
Pacific Hand-Crafters Guild (Oahu - now out of business)
Worst show ever and why
Seabury Craft Fair - they allow imports because they don't know the difference - juried by non-professionals. They also have a building for a "rummage sale" and most people race past the artisans to get to the rummage sale when the gates open. And it's notorious for RAIN! Buckets.
Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.
I co-wrote an e-book with Carolyn Edlund (Artsy Shark)( and then was interview live by Connie about Email Marketing. Long ago! But I have been getting the emails every since.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I had my first crafting business at the age of seven making pot holders and selling them door to door. I even had 2 paid employees!
