What are the best things about art fairs
direct interaction with customers, building friendships and professional relationships with other artists
Best show ever and why
NO Jazz Fest 2006- first Jazz Fest after Hurricane Katrina. The outpouring of love for everything New Orleans- related was amazing to experience. The realization that New Orleans would survive and in fact thrive made it a show to remember forever.
Worst show ever and why
Boyton Beach mid 1980s- naive glass artist picks a show because he thought the location was close to affluent areas only to find out that each community has their own locally-supported show. The end result is spending much more money than income.
