Best show ever and why

My first show. I wasn't sure if anyone would really like my mosaic pieces enough to pay what I was asking, I was so new and didn't know what to expect. People actually referred to me as an "artist" for the first time and I practically sold out. A big confidence boost.


Worst show ever and why

A show in Plainfield, IL. Turned out to be a craft fair with lots of crocheted stuff and the likes. I should have known when I saw the signs advertising hayrides and tractor pulls. I sold nothing but did learned a valuable lesson: Research first and stick to jurried shows.

    • Many topics have already been discussed. We suggest you try a search of your topic before you post your question. Click the SEARCH tab at the top of the page and “search” for your topic: tents, jury fees, Ann Arbor Art Fair, the name of a show, etc. You might find that someone has already asked and answered your question.
