I didn't have to leave until the moment the faire closed, but my second year coordinating the Midsummer Arts Faire, I was due with my first child the last day of the faire. I went into labor as the faire closed, left my dedicated volunteers to help artists pack up and 30 hours later welcome my art faire baby, Alexander William to the world. That was definitely a memorable art faire experience!
