What are the best things about art fairs
Seeing the faces of patrons as they look at art. Meeting other artists and realizing others are trying to figure out how to present their art and make a little bit of money.
Best show ever and why
Texas Arts and Crafts Festival, Kerrville, TX. Very well run show with lots of care given to artists. Very well known and advertised with very large crowds with a good mix of patrons
Worst show ever and why
Houston International Festival. Held in late June when the temperature and humidity in Houston are both in the mid 90s - very few patrons between 1:00 and 5:00 when we had to be open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Depending on the show, I might be wearing jeans and boots or a kilt - and I feel right at home wearing either one.
