What are the best things about art fairs
Talking to the people and meeting other exhibitors. Learning from engineers who stop to see my demo. Big ego boost, too! NOT working in a cubicle anymore.
Best show ever and why
Knuppers Nursery. My items are for the garden and everyone who showed up was there to redeem their end of year nursery coupons. They were there to BUY and were pleasantly surprised to find an art show.
Worst show ever and why
Long Grove Strawberry Fest. Three days of no buyers! Lots of families looking for food, free stuff and cheap kids toys. LOTS of buy/sell and corporate booths. Plus the most poorly run event I've attended.
