What are the best things about art fairs
Challenge. Meeting people; experiencing the enjoyment customers express when they purchase my jewelry. Seeing them the next year and hearing that they still love the piece the purchased and receive compliments whenever they wear it.
Best show ever and why
Estes Park Labor Day 2003. $4,000 in sales, people from all over the country, weather was good all three days.
Worst show ever and why
Billings, Montana 1996. Was still a beginner. Tried a show that was billed as a craft show but it turned out to be a flea market.
Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.
Can't remember. Have known about it for a while. I don't do "cutting edge" work, but I am a committed artisan specializing in an extremely wide range of semi-precious stone and other natural materials, quality work guaranteed, and only my own designs, moderately priced. Customers give me enthusiastic feedback, so perhaps I've been undervaluing myself.
