What are the best things about art fairs
The social aspect - camaraderie among artists, opportunities for conversation between buyers and creators. Also the strength that comes with consolidating a good variety of art on one place and making the experience of shopping convenient and fun for collectors.
Best show ever and why
Lincoln Arts Festival 2015 - everything conspired for our success - the weather was beautiful, the Cornhuskers were hosting their homecoming game, so there were extra people in town. Kickoff was 7 pm and our show closes at 6 pm on Saturday. Perfect!
Worst show ever and why
Lincoln Arts Festival 2017 -- the wind was horrific and trying to help/manage artists who weren't prepared for such weather was even worse.
