First show ever
First Thursday on South Congress in Austin, TX
What are the best things about art fairs
Getting to talk to customers about my work and meeting other artists.
Best show ever and why
Surprisingly, my best show to date is the 2014 Spring Bayou City Art Festival. Even with all the controversy leading up to the event, this was my first time participating and I had a record breaking phenomenal show! Felt fantastic!
Worst show ever and why
Bat Fest in Austin. High booth fee for a one day show that started at 2 in the afternoon! Held on a bridge over town lake - so it was super windy - almost lost my tent that day! Literally. It almost picked up like a sale and went over the bridge into the water! Competition was a bunch of junk including imported goods, pipes, sunglasses, and other useless junk!

Thanks as well for the comment on King William. I'm in it this year. It's my first big show, and I'm really looking forward to it.
