What are the best things about art fairs
I love useful feedback & reactions to my line from customers and visitors at my display. Also interacting & networking with fellow artisans is very productive.
Best show ever and why
A Trunk Show held in my hostess' home during the winter holiday season was an excellent event. Patrons were able to interact a lot; shop & try on in a relaxed setting; and 2 ladies were inspired to order elaborate custom-made items.
Worst show ever and why
Standing outside in a thunderstorm near huge trees in a large city park I really questioned the feasibility of doing more shows that expose me to the elements, yet yielded few sales.
