What are the best things about art fairs
The other artists that I meet at fairs are amazing, diverse, talented in so many ways and can become good friends. What isn't great about enjoying a day where people want to come up to you and ask you about your passion/art.
Best show ever and why
I had a great series of shows in 2019 with anticipation of even better sales in 2020. I show only in the midwest areas. I find that late Summer events and November events have the largest income. Be ready for those months.
Worst show ever and why
Three Rivers Festival, Art in the Park, Ft Wayne, Indiana 2016. They put all of the new artists together on a street that was not inside the green space parkway. Most of the visitors to the show did not know we were on the outside street of the park. Not integrating the new artists among the established ones, left us all with low sales.

I found it online when I began to show art a few years ago. It has been a great resource of information for shows and sales.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I'm became a biker babe, when my husband got a new Harley a few years ago, so I haven't been in many shows the past couple of summers, we tour around and visit state and national parks instead. I do mostly indoor shows now at charity functions and regional group shows.
