Best show ever and why
2011 Holiday Art Show, Bonifas Fine Art Center, Escanaba, MI...Its a small show but they do a wonderful job selecting unique artists to be in the show. Their director and entire staff is present to view your booth, inquire if you need anything - SHOP! and they promote it within the surrounding communities - you can tell that when the people come in and are actually looking for a specific artist because of the medium. Sales are very good even in the slow economy.
Worst show ever and why
I did a show with my engraved glass at a casino and ended up placed in front of a "fire exit" door. No problem as far as I was concerned until the security guard told me I could drive my car up and use the door to take my stuff out at the end of the show. Well the guy next to me heard him say that to me and decided that he was going to cut right through my booth area to haul his booth stuff out. I had my totes scattered and was trying to wrap and pack my glass items. I had to stand my ground and tell him when I was done packing up and my stuff was out then he could do whatever he wanted, but I was not going to move my stuff so he could come through and then finish my packing. It got so heated that the security guard had to come over and tell the man that he could use one of the other 2 door until I was finished.

Just put your topic, canopy tents, jurying fees, Ann Arbor Art Fair, etc, into the search bar at the top of the right side of the page. You might be surprised that someone has already asked your question.
