Years in the Art Fair Business

First show ever
First show ever was at Williams Collage in Williamstown, MA - a lovely college town in the Berkshires. This was about a year and a half ago.
What are the best things about art fairs
Showing my art, of course, especially when I've been working on a new series & am looking for feedback -- also meeting and talking with other artists and art lovers in general. An occasional sale doesn't hurt either!
Best show ever and why
My first gallery show was this spring at the Hosmer Gallery in Northampton. I had a great time and had some very positive feedback (and resulting sales).
Worst show ever and why
Went to a lovely county fair which would have been fun had I only had horses or llamas instead of pictures. I was placed in a barn alongside someone who was selling made-in-China sneakers and downwind from the pony rides. Plus I locked my keys in my car - not a happy day!
Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.
No one "referred" me. I was simply surfing through Facebook looking for likely art-related pages (as is my wont) and discovered yours. Looked interesting, so decided to check it out.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I live and work in an old church building in Western MA -- my bookstore/gallery is in the front & our apartment is in the back. An ongoing project but always fun --
