What are the best things about art fairs
Traveling to new places, getting out and sharing my work with others. Overhearing positive comments or listening to direct compliments. Having a profitable show.
Best show ever and why
Kirkland Artist Studio Tour. People come to me over a weekend and got to see my space where I create. Fun to have people over and my sales were great. One person even brought their dog so I could do a commission of him, i took photographs to use, wiggly dogs are not good models.
Worst show ever and why
Coupeville on Whidbey Island. Not a lot of lodging so I had to commute by ferry every day that weekend. Made for extremely long days. Too many booths, show took a booth fee and a hefty commission that year. The booth fee I was fine with, the additional commission not so much.

What is one fun fact about yourself?
I have a desert tortoise as a pet and he eats better than I do. :)
