What are the best things about art fairs
Selling and making new friends and seeing old ones. And getting feedback on my work.
Best show ever and why
Gumtree in Tupelo, MS. It was my best show ever! And my college freshman roommate and her husband live in Tupelo and helped me SELL!!! I stayed with them and we got to visit a lot. It was a great weekend!
Worst show ever and why
Hogansville, GA. Tons of buy/sell. People were only buying funnel cakes and inflatable AK47s for their kids! I only had ONE sale

Jennifer, I do a lot of Atlanta shows and have run into this Mistura Watch Booth. I was 2 booths down from them at Grant Park Summer Shade and I asked this guy if they made their watches. He told me the Leather comes from Dallas and the Watches come from Columbia. It was disturbing to me as I watched him sell watches Like Crazy. I design One Of A Kind Leather Accessories including Watches and it took away from my Business at this show. I mentioned it to the Organizer.
The next weekend I was at another show in Atlanta (Festival On Ponce) and this Booth was about 6 booths down from me and I confronted the Organizer (a different organizer than the previous weekend) and he defended him and got Mad at me and walked away. Needless to say I got rejected from the next show that I applied with that organizer. The company is www.MISTURA.com from Dallas/Miami and the CEO Juan Felipe Barrenchen (CEO/DESIGNER) 214-727-3247 juanfelipe@mistura.com If this guy is the CEO and has stores in Dallas, LA, Canada, Mexico, Columbia, and on Cruise Ships, and advertises in D Magazine, Playboy,Lucky Magazines then why does he feel the need to do a slow show in Atlanta and take up a True Artist spot
