What are the best things about art fairs

They give artists the opportunity to connect with their viewers, and to have their work seen by many people. It can be a good avenue for sales as well.

Best show ever and why

One of the best shows that I have been in recently was in the area near where I live. It's called The Art Plunge and corresponds to "The Crossing," a big event near Lake Gaston in Virginia each year. People cross the lake any fashion they like. It's a nice event and draws people from near and far.

Worst show ever and why

Can't really remember a totally bad fair. I suppose the worst ones are the ones that get rained out. I think the time of year has a lot to do with it too. It's a gamble we take to have our work seen.
