Meeting and talking with people and seeing and feeling a common bond made possible through my images and experiences.
Best show ever and why
Fall Into the Arts, at Illinois Wesleyan University. It was my first long-distance show and the venue was totally fine art. The idea of being there in a totally unfamiliar environment and competing with fellow artists in such a large venue was just inspiring. I received much encouragement and recognition I guess I did not expect. It was a sort of validation of my vision and my effort.
Worst show ever and why
Kahler Middle School, Dyer, IN - It was primarily a holiday venue and more craft oriented. My portfolio was very limited and I was simply in the wrong venue at the wrong time.
