First show ever
Gallery in the Garden in Woodstock Il. Tis was put on by 2 lovely women- they really nurtured emerging artists.
What are the best things about art fairs
It just gets in your blood- it's addicting. I love meeting people and fellow artists- the community aspect. I love a a new (to me) show- I love problem solving, seeing a site and seeing where I fit in. I'm very interested in the business/promotion side of putting on a show.
Best show ever and why
The first year I did the inaugural Morton Arboretum Wine and Art Walk. None of us new what to expect. Wow! crazy huge crowds drinking wine at 11am any buying like mad- plus, there were less than 40 artists!
Worst show ever and why
I did a show in Lake Zurich Il on the same weekend as the yearly parade/festival weekend. ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE LAKE! Even the community bulletin board had the wrong date for our show. Ugh.

What is one fun fact about yourself?
My studio is in the hand-dug basement of my 130yr old house. I share the space with 3 litter boxes, 2 cats and a plethora of bugs. It's my favorite place in the entire world
