Depends - Antioch Holiday Fair in Nov of 2004 (0 sales) or a private show the previous summer ($800).
What are the best things about art fairs
Meeting people, both customers and fellow vendors.
Best show ever and why
A private show I organize every year for the American Mensa Annual Gathering - single best show for sales that I have every year. This year was the highest gross yet.
Worst show ever and why
That first holiday show in Antioch and several days across the years at the Berkeley Telegraph Ave Holiday Fair. Antioch show was with a friend/jeweler and she sold one pair of earrings in 3 days and I sold NOTHING. Berkeley in December was always a weather crap-shoot and standing out all day in low 50's temperatures with rain and wind huddling under a market umbrella in a 5'x6' space... NOT fun!
