First show ever
My first show was in Fort Sumner, New Mexico, my home town. Winterfest is held every year in December. There are lots of local artists and crafts.
What are the best things about art fairs
I think the best things about Art shows are the people. I like getting to visit with new vendors and returning vendors. The customers that come are from all over the place. I like getting to meet new people and sharing my work.
Best show ever and why
Old Fort Days in New Mexico. Outdoor event in the park. Lots of visitors to the park. I sold lots of paintings.
Worst show ever and why
The one that comes to mind is a Vineyard. It wasn't because the show was terrible, it was because it was so cold. Even though we were indoors, there just happened to be a draft hole in the ceiling right above us. Luckily, the owners had a couple of heaters.

I am a retired teacher and have always v loved art.
