Wow, Trenton Mid Summer Festival in 2010. Registered for business license in 2011. FYI: Updates on website. Registered the domain but no website yet. 2013's goal.
What are the best things about art fairs
You get the opportunity to reach out to volumes of people/potential customers including artists. I love when return customers validate the excellance of our products/ thus actually giving testimonials in our booth regarding the products they purchased in the past; especially when potential customers are in booths.
Best show ever and why
Hmm. The Handcrafters Tinsel & Treasures in Northville, MI. Awesome Sales.
Worst show ever and why
Hmmm. Theres been a few actually. Some of the spring shows I did in 2011 put on by the school fundraising committee. Sales low. Customers not always looking to buy. Just walking/exercising; maybe something to do. Maybe too many of the same media for a small crowd.

Many topics have already been discussed here before you joined us. You might like to try a search of your topic before you post your question. Just put your topic, canopy tents, jurying fees, Ann Arbor Art Fair, etc, into the search bar at the top of the right side of the page. You might be surprised that someone has already asked your question.
